L'INCROYABLE FEMME DES NEIGES

Ensemble 0 presents an original live cinema concert based on Sébastien Betbeder's feature film The Incredible Snow Woman: a unique opportunity for audiences to discover the film's score performed live by its composers.

Cinema and live music come together in an immersive experience, as five members of Ensemble 0 accompany the screening by performing the original soundtrack live. The score was composed by the ensemble's core members—Joël Mérah, Stéphane Garin, and Sylvain Chauveau.

The Incredible Snow Woman is a feature film that blends drama and comedy, driven by Blanche Gardin's outstanding performance as Coline Morel, a solitary explorer confronted with her own mortality. Set between France's Jura Mountains and Greenland, the film explores themes of survival, the search for meaning, and family. Moving seamlessly between humour and gravity, it offers a poignant reflection on death, freedom, and isolation. Sébastien Betbeder's camera captures his heroine's existential journey with remarkable sensitivity, while revealing both intimate and majestic landscapes, from the forests of the French Jura to the vast frozen expanses of Greenland.

"Blanche Gardin in the finest performance of her career." (Télérama, France)
